Today has been one of the first quiet days I’ve had in a long time (aka no internet). Technology seems to merely placate the need for socializing, but nothing can replace the feeling when you can reach out and touch someone.
I’ve started writing again although it is for promotional material. I had not written a single word on paper since early September and I figure it is time to start again. I’ll post some of the completed works here for your feedback although you may have to wait a week or two.
I’m looking out the balcony window at the mountains. The snow has melted away from the mountain peaks and the afternoon sun gives the whispy clouds a halo and highlights the red, brown and green of the trees below.
No witty comments or exciting stories to tell today. Just another day in Japan comprised of quiet thoughts and daily chores.
