A wise man once said, “Patience is nothing more than having something to think about while waiting for something else to happen.”  I guess I got tired of thinking and waiting.

I hopped on a plane, flew to the other side of the world and I’m living in Sendai, Japan.   For the past ten years I’ve regarded myself as an entrepreneur yet I’ve never been satisfied with any of the success that I’ve had and frustrated with the failures.  I’ve always felt that there was something missing and this journey is about finding passion again.

I’m a scorpio, prefer swimming to long walks on the beach, and I try to help anyone if I can.  I tend to stay away from confrontations and arguments where there is no clear winner, but I have a feeling that all of that will change soon.

All pictures and videos have been shot with a Blackberry Bold 9700.  And yes it does work in Japan.

Update (Nov 11, 2010)

A number of people have been asking “why Scotch in Japan”.  A very simple answer – there is a little boy (18-24 months) whom I got to know fairly well earlier this year.  He was very shy when we first met, however he soon warmed up to me and started calling my name whenever I was around.  The problem was he couldn’t say the “T” in Scot – saying  Scoch or Scotch with heavy emphasis on the “ch”.

Update (Apr 20, 2011)

Currently living north of Toronto and running Gobi Capital just like before.  In a few weeks I will be heading back to Asia and writing daily again.

Update (Oct 18, 2011)

Currently living in Ontario.  There are plans to do extensive travelling in 2012 – Asia, Europe, Middle East, Central & South America.
